Alaska Photograph Album, ca. 1890s-1900s.

The collection contains 63 black and white photographs from a disbound album, most of which are snapshots with no captions and many are of the coast of Alaska, including images of settlements such as Sitka, St. Michael Cathedral (a Russian Orthodox church in Sitka), other churches, a school for Indian children, Indian women selling crafts, cabins, the fishing industry, harbors, boats, totem poles, railroad lines, men, women, and children on outings, Davidson and other glaciers, and scenic views of rivers, waterfalls, mountains, and forests. Also included is an image of the Mount Shasta [California?] Mineral Spring Company.
